Snake scope is an ergonomic handheld video endoscope system with robust and semi flexible insertion tube (goose neck). Snake Scope can be directly connected to the battery operated handheld 4” TFT monitor for maximum mobility. For stationary applications, e. g. at production plants, laboratories or other fix locations, Snake Scope might be operated with a high resolution external video monitor. In addition, the video borescope can be connected to a computer via any of Optilia´s USB2.0, PCMCIA or FireWire frame grabbers.

Snake Scope applies precision optics and micro CMOS image sensor on the tip of the semi-flexible tube. The camera captures images with rich colour throughout a large dynamic range. Long life, bright white LED:s are used on the tip of the semi flexible tube for illumination of the inspected objects.
