Europlacer's 8mm Intelligent Tape Feeder can hold two different part numbers concurrently, handle all 8mm tape no matter plastic or paper and fed components down to 0201 chips.
It accurately presents the components to the nozzles of the machine and is truly ‘intelligent’. It holds information & communicates with the machine.
An own fiducial mark is incorporated enabling fast automatic calibration of pick-up position when loaded to the machine. A cover-tape removal system without take-up spool allows easy splicing.
Europlacer's feeders are programmable with a micro-terminal or using the programming system. They can be placed anywhere on the machines, there are no dedicated slots, allowing a first time right loading plan.

Europlacer's new programmable belt feeder (E 112735) is the flexible solution for components in sticks. It allows for the distribution of SO, SO medium, SO large and TSSOP type components, utilising a base plate with the ability to fit feeder sticks into eight positions.
