The laser tooling option is an invaluable aid to quickly and accurately position magnetic support pins in the correct locations for double sided PCB assemblies.

The bottom side of the PCB is graphically Displayed on the monitor and the desired locations of the pins are quickly programmed using a ‘Drag & Drop' function.

A laser fitted to the top camera gantry is then utilised to guide the operator in correctly positioning the tooling pins. This facility eliminates the guesswork associated with manual placement of tooling pins and furthermore improves product changeover times.
